THE EPIX PORTFOLIO
More paper, less plastic Henkel’ s EPIX ® technology is a portfolio of materials designed to extend the functionality of paper. The portfolio was developed to create viable alternatives to plastic packaging that have similar robust protection properties and with the added benefit of recyclability.
With EPIX ® technology, paper products can provide barrier protection against grease and water, for example, as well as thermal insulation and impact to mechanical resistance. At the same time, the EPIX ® portfolio offers these properties in lightweight paper configurations, helping to reduce the space needed for shipping or disposal, packaging weight, and associated transportation costs. All this was achieved while keeping EPIX ® technology solutions recyclable. �
